This is the personal website for Paul Schuh — if you clicked here, you’re probably bored and don’t have anything better to do… in any event, in the hope that you may find this at least mildly entertaining, I will attempt to give to at least a few facts that will hopefully let you get to know me a bit better.

I currently work as a Unix/Network Systems Administrator for Unifi Manufacturing, Inc. with headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. Basically, my work involves keeping routers, switches, firewalls, and servers up and running in support of the company’s ┬ámission. Most recently, I have also become more involved with VoIP systems as we transition off our legacy PBX switch over to a VoIP Voice platform. Occasionally, I will develop in-house applications for process automation — usually using the LAMP platform for development.

In my free time, I enjoy playing bass guitar in the band Wax Mojo, and working in the studio with Logic Pro 8 and Ableton Live. I also look for opportunities to work as a sound FOH/Recording engineer for live bands in the region. Most notably, the American Arrow Band out of Blacksburg, VA.

I have a private pilots certificate and I’m actively working towards IFR/COM certification.

I am also a license amateur radio operator, and I’m active on HF/VHF with the callsign N4VOA.
